Any chance you guys could install the Tapatalk plugin so we can connect via the Tapatalk app for Android/iPhone? It makes browsing forums so much nicer on mobile devices.
 
Not going to happen. There is a mobile version of the forum. You should use it. Bottom left corner.
 
Why not? I find the mobile version very hard to read. The color scheme when it's condensed like that is tough and the format sucks.
 
Try Opera Mobile instead of whatever you're using. I have no authority on the matter, but the answer on previous plugin support has always been no.
 
I was just curious because I understand it's free. I know a few large forums that use it, so I was wondering if you all had thought about implementing it.
 
I think it's more of a "not taking a chance of it gumming up the works" than a cost thing.
 
There is nothing wrong with our mobile version. Sorry if you do not like it. We are not going install the latest fly by night bullshit plugin that everyone thinks is a must every couple of weeks.
 
No, we are not going to install it. We have a mobile version here that works very well. I sorry you do not like it.

And my point is that every week it is someone asking us to install the next latest and greatest mobile plugin. Just not going to put all the work into it and have another failure point in our forums because one person wants a forum in a color they like.
 
i haven't used Tapatalk, but from what i here, it is great. not i think the [H] mobile is broken. but i do think it is limited. im fine with it either way, on my iphone i prefer to use the vBulletin style rather than the [H] mobile, but im with the OP, it might be worth investigating when things are slow your way.
 
Thanks for the input. We take all of this into consideration. I have yet to see the reason to spend cycles into custom solutions when what we have works just fine.
