The second upside, and the biggest for most people, is the dedicated uptime. It is also a lot cheaper.

my question is we see speed slowdown when we get heavy internet usage on the DSL modem will that change with a T1
also should my T1 speeds be higher?

I would give your provider a call. T1's are set at 1.5/1.5 and that is what you should be getting.

There must be some promotional price involved in that. Everywhere I've ever seen, a second T1 bonded with the first is usually no less than 90% the cost of the first. I've never seen two bonded T1s less than $1000. That would be awesome though, 3Mb sym. Tasty.da sponge said:Bonded T1s. dsl is for where connectivity isn't so big a deal. So most small businesses would probably be ok with dsl.
