System Shock Kickstarter Reached $1.35 Million

Congrats to the guys at Nightdive Studios on raising more than $1.35 million for the complete remake of System Shock. The developers original sought only $900,000 but the additional cash now allows the team to make a version for the Xbox One and PS4 in addition to the PC version.

I think they will. A lot of my friends that play on console used to be PC gamers, so I bet they would get a kick out of this. My only worry is that the gameplay may not hold up.

Trying to remember if I backed this - I try to back game devs that I have liked stuff in the past. Oh well, guess I'll find out if I get an email from Kickstarter

If this one does really well I wouldn't be surprised if they do. Don't count on it for a couple years though.
