Yup. I'm thinking of trying to get in the beta, but I don't think anything will have had this much beta testing frenzy since Diablo 2.

yeah, i got the first page to load, but the second page where you sign up didnt.
 
It doesn't bode well that they can't even manage beta testing traffic loads... :p
 
What's this "you do not meet the criteria to make an account" bollocks? At least stipulate the criteria so I can lie, you bastards.

Fuck that, the website's a mess. Submit my details, it asks for a system scan and then goes back to the account creation page in a retarded great loop.

That website is still fucked up. I created an account after trying about 10 times, now whever it asks for more info for the testing, it enters that "loop" where it just keeps going back to the page to enter the info.
 
I ended up having to use firefox to make the signup works, it kept either giving me the loop problem or only doing half the system scan and not finishing.

Edit, what a terribly poor website, registered and submitted my details and it simply went back to the previous page. Used Firefox. FU Mr Website.

I got all the way through this morning finally. I found that if you hit Enter while you're in one of the text boxes to go to the next page it will work but if you click the next page button it will go into a loop resetting you to the first step of the sign up process.
 
Damn this scan takes for-ev-ar

edit: finally, after signing up about 20 times.. The trick with hitting enter rather then clicking Submit helped me bypass the loop issue.

For those that are having problems and are using IE try Firefox it worked right away for me.
 
I didn't have any problems at all once the site came back up. Scan took maybe 10 seconds and I was done. I hope I get accepted to actually test the game and give Bioware some feedback.
 
Still loops back when I get to the EULA acceptance/computer scan/additional information page.

Lost interest already.
 
Tried Opera, Firefox and IE - infinite loop tastic. I hope the game is better than their wanky website

Got to java.com and update the 32-bit Java client.
If you never finish the scan, this will allow you to finish the scan and complete the signup

I think this is a test to see if you can bug test and sort technical issues. Make the sign up and scan then you pass
 
Can't get it to work on my home PC, just loops even pressing Enter.

Forget it and fuck you Bioware for wasting my time :mad:
 
i just tired for 10 minutes of trying to fill this online sign up. and it still dont let me. so fuk it. i dont got time to sit here and try to do this all day. i will not be buying this game now.

I am not being a dick. Just because you can't sign up right this second doesn't mean you will never be able to. If it bothers you that bad that it isn't working right this second you shouldn't try. Getting worked up over not being able to sign up for a beta because their website is being flooded with thousands of people trying to do the same thing is a little ridiculous. After all they could have left it closed. You should be happy they are at least offering you a chance to get in.
 
it doenst have to do with the amount of people signing up, the sign-up is broken. People are getting sign-up loops that bring them back to the first page. The system scanner was freezing half way through for me even after I updated java
