I've never had an ATI card before. I was wondering if the ATI brackets for the MCW60 will fit on a 4850. It says they fit the 2900xt in the documentation. Just wondering if it is the same bolt pattern like nvidia goes between some generations of their cards.

Hey, R1ck, will an MCW 55 fit in the same place? I already have one, new in box, and I THINK the top is the only difference between the 55/60. Swiftech has been brutally slow to get back to me. :(

Funny you linked me to that thread b/c I posted there too earlier tonight.... the response came after my post... hehe :)

How you been? Just bought 2x4850s to upgrade from my 8800gtx (which I already sold). Now I'm trying to decide on if I should use the Abit IX38 QuadGT (brand new in my closet, or might sell it), or a diff board... on top of that I'm wondering if I should finally go DDR3 or not... then on top of that I need to figure out a potential new waterloop as right now I've got a bix2 rad which may not do well with 2x4850s, and an e8400 in the loop. I could throw in a SECOND bix2 rad, but then my D5 pump may not hold up... =/ DECISIONS!

IF it fits the 3870, it will fit a 4800 series block.

IDK if it fits a 3870, either. I know they'll fit on older ATI cards, and I had them (with different brackets) on my 7800GTs, but Swiftech STILL has not responded after 2 emails :(

I've got an MCW60 on the way to me, so hopefully sometime this coming week I'll check it out... PM me if I forget to post results here.

That's cool. If need be, I'll take some measurements of the block to determine if they are indeed the same.
