Got a CCBBE 0610DPMW from monarch a week ago. This CPU is AMAZING! I've got it running at 2.7 prime stable at only 1.4vcore with my load temps in the low 40s. The only thing holding it back is my mobo (MSI K8N Diamond Plus). I can't get my FSB any higher than 300 without it crashing. And I know it's the mobo and not the CPU because it would happen even with my cpu multiplier at 5x. I'm really happy with the overclock because this maching is freaking fast, but at the same time it's a little unsatisfying when I'm sure I could hit 3.0 on air. Scythe ninja and antec p180 ftw!

Man, that is one of the best steppings you can buy. Either sell it for a price hike and get a new one that may better fit your board, or (what I would do), get a new board. You could pick up a Biostar T-Force for like $70. (Its MATX, make sure your case has the holes for such). I ahve one and its doing 330fsb rock solid. Havent treid to go any higher, but I am sure I could. Went up to 330 without a hitch.

highest i can get my CCBBE 0610DPMW is 2.88ghz, any help on getting higher?

I hate all of you. I sucked it up and went the 170 route for more $$ and this POS CBBWE 0551 won't budge past 2.5 on WATER at 1.5 Vcore... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: congrats on the great OC! :D

well I have mine @ 2.6 on air @ 1.5v....running Prime now. The latest beta BIOS on the K8N Diamond supposadly resolves the issue with the 300MHz limit/crash....you might try it.

you could try to drop the multiplier from 9x to 8x and see if your board is able to go past 300FSB, i find it very odd that your not able to go above 300FSB since most boards now can go past it. btw nice oc man

You guys lucked out. My opty 165 requires a lot of volts to reach 2.7 (1.5v) and as a result temps skyrocket when i have it at that setting. I decided to stay with 2.6 because that was sufficient for me. My stepping CCBWE 0551 VPMW.
