there was a post like 2 weeks ago about some one makeing a server ofc...

But the Mb in this one some one pointed them to a supermicro card with 6 x sata and 2 x SAS ports. And onbord graffic sins the i3 or i5 was used

I have bin looking for this post and the MB on supermicro's HP but i cant find it..

think it used a I5 or i3 CPU.

Can some one help me out here?

only thing i'm not sure about is can i use the sas one for JBOD or will i have to run Raid5?
 
Yes you can use the SAS ports for JBOD when the firmware is cross-flashed to LSI 9211-8i IT firmware.
