Hello All,

So I rebooted my ESX host today to try and resolve an issue with unable to open virtual machine console. After about 10 minutes I knew the system wasn't coming back up. It was failing to ping.

I hooked monitor and keyboard up to it and couldn't get a response on monitor. Did a hard reboot and it beeps twice then five second later spit out about 8-12 beeps, goes silent after this and nothing shows on the monitor.

I've pulled all memory and it instantly beeps at me on power up. just start screaming right away.

Pulled all PCI-E card out (HBA and Intel NIC) and I got the same results. 2 beeps, pause, then 8-12 beeps.

I'm open to suggestions on what to try.

Whats the manual say ?
I believe the beeps are different among the boards
