Not as they are. dip the entire end of the sensor (up past the yellowish tape and onto the wires, past any part of it that will be in the water) in clear nail polish, let dry and dip again. This will slow down the thermal response just a tad but will not affect accuracy and should waterproof it. Clear nail polish is basiclly liquid plastic.
