here's my current build:
Case: 800D
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 CPU
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 ATX Motherboard
Power Supply: Corsair GS700
Memory: Corsair 3 x 2GB DDR3 1600 RAM
Hard Disks: Crucial CT128M4SSD2CCA 2.5" 128GB SSD, Seagate esternal 2TB, Seagate external 3TB
Video Card: XFX HD-585A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5850 1GB PCI-E Video Card
Sound Card: on board
Monitor: Dell 2007
I've had this build for four years now and think it's time for something new and improved. I want to upgrade to a monitor that will harness the power of the newer cards. By the time I finish buying everything it will be may/june. So what cards would you recommend for a build taking place within the next few months? Is my current cpu and ram sufficient? I'd like to upgrade to a 256gb-500gb+ ssd but I want the price to stay around $400. I would also like the option of getting a second card later.
thanx as always
