Hard to keep up with all the threads on displays.

I'm currently gaming on a 2009 Westing House 26" LCD. L2610NW. It's a large display that has worked out well for me but I want something better no more more than $300. My eyes are getting tired of high speed ghosting that I am experiencing when gaming.

Looking for 120hz. LED back lit.

Want a gaming monitor. Intrested in the BenQ pro gaming monitor that looks decent but I'm not sure if there is something better. I'm comfortable with a larger display and going back to 24" may be difficult but most of the nicer affordable monitors are in the 24" range.

Really want a monitor that will give me an edge for FPS games.

Samsung S27A950 (or its VESA mount cousin the S27A750) will be the one to beat if they keep the input lag numbers down. Supposedly will be available in a few weeks.

If you check out the review from TFT central, it shows that the BenQ XL2410T has the lowest input lag out of all competitors:
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_xl2410t.htm

Aside from the input lag the BenQ has one of the most adjustable exterior body compared to other 120hz gaming monitors. I guess it definitely helps when you invite 2 pro gamers to help design a gaming monitor. Specifically you can adjust the monitor by 45 degrees left and right or 13cm up and down (height adjustment), and also you get upward/downward neck tilt of the monitor. Of course the monitor is also able of doing landscape and portrait mode interchanges. The monitor carries screen size display modes which you can quickly switch through the OSD with your screen size setting to optimize the games to fit their original screen size without being distorted. Also you get other options like PBP and of course it comes with hdmi, dvi, and vga ports.

I would say definitely wait for the new Samsung, and then see if the review come out to be better than the BenQ XL2410T. If not, definitely consider the XL, as I think it's one of the better 120hz currently in the market!

for pure gaming performance get the lg w2363d
no input lag + pretty fast pixel response
its also pretty cheap

if you read the tftcentral review of the benq you'll see its one of the worst 120hz monitors for gaming
pixel response slower than a 60hz ips...
still some input lag even with instant mode...

spawn and heaton are simply sponsored by benq
their names on the monitor really means nothing
just look at the fatal1ty mouse
