We could use a little more info. For example, what's your budget? Are there any particular features you want other than being a good machine to game on? Anything else you're going to do w/ the machine other than office/web/email type stuff (which will run happily on an old P3)?

I'm trying to consider a P4 2.8Ghz or 3.0Ghz prescott on the AMD side I don't have much of an idea upon which mobo or processor to choice from, I tend to use it mostly in gaming coz inter is not as good as in other countries, (most people here have dial ups,philippines) hope you can shed some thought out of it before i consider buying a system...thankss

Get a Prescott and OC the hell out of it
AMD 64 Hornet For a mid-range gamer I would recommend an AMD XP system or possibly a AMD 64 System..I would check out Monarch Computer (www.monarchcomputer.com) They have a good deal on an AMD 64 Special here: Monarch AMD 64 System Special
Just add an AGP video card and Windows and you would be set.
Or the Value Gaming System: Value XP Gaming System
Or if you want their awesome Hornet machine thats great for gaming and an all around system check it out: XP Hornet P4 Hornet AMD 64 Hornet
They are also available in barebones as well...defintely should be someone to consider..they make some mean systems and have good support!
