I, like the vast majority of the people who come to [H], dearly miss the reviews of pc integrators. I was wondering if we would ever see a comeback of [H] Consumer? Would it be possible to set up a paypal donation account? If every member of [H] donated $1 on a monthly basis, wouldnt that be enough to at least cover the cost of purchasing a computer? I'm just throwing out ideas out there, but I felt that [H] Consumer was the most innovative and awesome part of this site and I hate to see it go so easily.

It wasnt so much the buying the computers that was the problem, because they got full refunds on them when they were done.

It was having to hire so many editors, and having to have a second office for [H] consumer that cost so much money.

The companies took advantage of them, and didnt put a cent back in to the operation >_<

It's gone. Done deal.
Really too bad, but Omega was right. The builders took full advantage of the free review of their business, but didnt have any love for the [H].:D
