Hi,

ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO
CORE I5 4670K
ASUS GTX 760 SLI
INTEL 335 240GB SSD
1TB*2 WD CAVIER BLACK HDD
CM STROM TROOPER
GSKILL TRIDENT X 2666MHZ RAMS
CORSAIR H110 WATER COOL

i need future proof psu.....kindly suggest me regards

850W is overkill for that setup.

The most you'll need is like 650W. What kind of budget do you have?

650-750W

Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, in no particular order

Yeah you do have a point the 850w is probably overkill, I just love it because It leaves me with plenty of power to expand and stuff

I am personally a big fan of Seasonic units....
The x650 is always a good option.

Except that it's not, because the Rosewill Capstone is just as good without whine problems. I don't understand why you guys keep on linking Seasonic stuff. It's otherwise a quality supply, but there's no need/reason to have to accept the too-high probability of getting whine when other similarly quality PSUs exist from other manufacturers. If it were between buying a crappy supply or a Seasonic with possible whine issues, that's one thing, but that's not the case.

I would be a little nervous with 650W and SLI 760. Any cpu+gpu overclocking would probably push the PSU headroom to a minimal amount. And he says "future proof".

he did say future proof, so maybe an 850w psu wouldn't be such a bad idea

For me, Rosewill's customer support is too much of an unknown for me to recommend comfortably most of the time.
