Streaming Games to Laptop

That's remotely playing from a Playstation Game. It's essentially streaming an ISO. The PSP still does all the rendering.
 
Google OnLive. They are attempting to stream 1080p across the frickin internet for use with rendering farms (emphasis on trying).

They claim no extra input lag, but I doubt it.

they claim 720p resolution which requires a 5Mbps connection.

the latency is theoretically fine for casual gamers. your "hardcore" gamers will probably notice the latency but the onlive service isn't really targeting them.

a while ago i used remote desktop to access my home pc to play WoW at work. the latency/frame rate was bad but i was just running around the cities and traveling, not doing any combat.

How did you manage that? I tired doing that with mstsc.exe and vnc. In both instances I got a message that WoW would not run in a remote session. I have tried that streammygame and its really doesn't work like it is advertised..

Your best bet is buying a laptop that can run the games you want. You find a decent game laptop < $1000 these days.
