Just trolling around the web I found the following LG 1080p TVs which I found a bit strange. These are just online "reviews" but that would be a very brief/loose description:

The reason I find it strange is that they are 22" and 26" IPS 1080p LCD TVs. I would believe with the advantage of standard sRGB gamut and 1080p resolution. While 1920x1200 is preferable obviously, I thought they warranted some attention/interest to post. I might drop by my local Canadian Best Buy as they stock the 22" version to have a peek.
I wonder if they have the white glow of the Dell 2209WA/U2410. I know my LG 37" does not. Might be worth a look if they are low input lag TVs, though the price would be a bit high for a true "monitor alternative", as the 22" is $499.99 Canadian, but that would likely change with time.
Additionally not sure how they would fare as true computer monitors, but worth a look methinks. Maybe an American friend could find the 26" locally and see what they saw
FYI.
