I've put together a very cheap computer together for my grams, and something's wrong. It shuts itself down often within a minute of being powered up.
From a cold start, using the BIOS hardware monitor without unavoidable delay, the CPU starts at 85C and slowly works it's way up and up. 85?! What the hell is up with that... It only takes like 10 seconds to get to the hardware monitor.
Yes, the heatsink is installed correctly as it get's quite warm after a few moments.
So should I get the CPU replaced or is this the mobo?
