My 9700 Pro had a sticker on it that Sapphire put on it to show what card it was, and they placed it on two of the BGA chips. I removed the sticker, but there is still sticky stuff on the card. what is the best way to remove this safely?

you could also try googone or something like that, as long as you applied it to a paper towel and wiped it off with that

lemon oil extract if your mother is in to Aromatherapy. My mom used to be really into that stuff and since ive moved out, some of the things kind of stuck with me. Lemon Oil is better then anything for that stuff.

Nail Polish Remover 100% Pure Acetone...found at your local Wal-Mart...like it better than rubbing alcohol cuz it is 100% Acetone, which leaves less residue behind and it evaporates faster.

bah, just use a cutting torch to heat it up, then wipe it off.... j/k :D

i'm with Bad Goat, acetone works good

ooo ooo I know!!!

LAP IT!

j/k...do it if you want but I'd use what the others suggested (googone, lemon oil, acetone, isopropyl or ethyl alcohol...use the later and you can dump the rest in your gas tank for a little boost:eek: )

heh, just don't go get an inspection sticker right after you put it in, they test for stuff like that, at least here in TX....
