I haven't been up to speed lately but there are some great mods out there for Morrowind that improve the eye candy and polish the game a little more. It might be worth it to take a look into those before dismissing a great game.
 
tried the Trine demo and it ran like ass on my 8800GTS.
A game with those graphics shouldnt be dipping in the 10-20s, What gives?

Also I couldnt figure out how you can play this game on a gamepad when it requires the cursor moving to aim.
 
Last day gentlemen. I've already spend over $150 on games during this sale so I'm glad it's coming to an end :p Hopefully there will be some nice daily deals today to wrap up this event.

Perhaps Team Fortress 2 or Killing Floor, which is the game I've been playing the most recently... really fun co-op gameplay.

If you have Anti Aliasing enabled turn it off, pretty sure Trine doesn't support AA but it surely will support the FPS drop. :p With AA off the game runs like a dream for me.
 
Bit on Morrowind right before the deal changes. Awesome to replay and old favorite of mine.
 
Wow the steam sale page is all messed up for me now...hmm. The deal was so big the page blew up!

No!! GTA went back down to $7.49! Ah well, I paid 20 bucks more :(
 
I think everything that was on a 1 day special is back to that price again.

I take that back. It looks like just yesterday's deals are still on. For now anyway, could just be slow updating them.
 
Todays deals are disappointing for anyone who actually kept up with the daily deals.

Thought today would be something special but I guess at least i can look forward to not splurgign on anything and just pick up the void like I planned.
 
Well these sales were great for getting me into indie games at least. I got trine, braid, osmos, world of goo, and defense grid all for $5 or less and they've all been well worth the money spent. I'm still thinking about machinarium and plants vs zombies too.
 
I was going to snag the Rock Star Collection, but with GTA4 back to $7.49, I might just snag it only... But now I wish I had also snagged the Max Payne collection, since it's part of the RS collection that I am not grabbing now...

Torchlight's back to $5, think I'll snag it, just in case...

So i'm trying to figure out if I want GTA4 and LFD2.

GTA4 is a no brainer ........ i'm on the fence with LFD2. I just bought LFD when it was on sale for $7.49.

Ugggggg ... I should just do it ... shouldn't I .....
 
I could possibly go for GTA IV. Are the graphics for the PC version better than the console versions? Any other improvements?

Already own it for the PS3 so I'm on the fence.

well if it helps, $29.99 is the lowest price i've seen it at, and that was in stores

and umm

i bought my copy around Thanksgiving at Gamestop

was $29.99 plus tax., $32.50 something i think

so roughly you'd just be buying it for the same price as anywhere else
 
I have found out that at least 3 of my friends play L4D2 on PC, so it's starting to look like I could make use of it despite already owning Xbox version...but I want the Eidos pack! Damn! I really should not be spending near $100 today on games.

Recommend Machinarium to RyanH - it's not super hard and the art is so awesome. Cute storytelling as well.
