It's a mixture of god of war / zelda / and a bit of DMC to it. Really fun game, $10 is a steal, I have it on the PS3 (Better version of the two consoles) and paid more than that. Looks best on PC too.

heh already bought it for 23 during an earlier sale aaaaaand didn't get around to playing it *bangs head against wall*

Nothing here for me today. Operation Flashdance: Double Dragon looks good but I dont think it's very up my alley. It seems to be some sort of War simulator rather than your standard FPS. I'd avoid it if any CoD people are looking at it. I'll wait til it's a dollar.

Try the demo. I enjoyed it a lot and the game runs very well and looks incredible. For the price it's at now I am sorely tempted. Lucky I had the foresight to put a small amount in my Steam wallet a few months ago.

Man if it was Operation Flashdance: Double Dragon it would have been a much better game.
 
i'm doing alright, so far i have:

FEAR complete pack $10.94
OFP: DR $3.29

Total: $14.23
 
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising isn't even worth $3. Really, even a fast food combo would be a better deal.

Worth picking up! It is not a SIM so if that's what you're looking for better off getting IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. But as an arcade flying game it's definitely worth it tons of fun and great graphics ;)

It does have sim modes, though I think they're not quite 100% hardcore sim. There's definitely a decent bit of depth to it though, I tried to drop in assuming it would be like a CoD game's hardcore mode and instead managed to take off and fly about 50 metres before nailing myself into the ground in a screaming ball of flame.

Yes! It natively supports a lot of joystick/throttle setups. I've been playing it a lot lately -- supports my X52 Pro just fine and rudder pedals as well. Great game, tons of fun blowing up nazi bombers. It runs great on my rig at 6048x1080 as well--pleasant surprise.
 
guys ive very sorry i didnt get the list up in time. I got a call about a Single father who has NOTHING at all. So I found out he have a 6 year old son who likes wrestling but doesnt have alot of Characters so I went out and bought a Complete set of Series 7 WWE wrestlers for him :)

cost about 50 bucks but it was well worth it. I updated the list on the front page but im sure everyone has seen the list by now.

I ended up snagging Mass effect 2 for 9.99 great game.

Fuckin hell, I have spent near enough 100 quid already since the sales started, it's like crack, I cant get enough :) I dont know if thats a good or a bad thing.

It's only day 3 and I have about 2 weeks to go :| at this rate I am gunna be cleaned out long before January the 2nd.

I was expecting 9.99 Batman AA, 14.99 Mass Effect 2, 19.99 Complete Dragon Age, 14.99 Crysis bundle :(

I can also vouch for this title - wonderful graphics, and a forgiving flight model. This game caused me to go out and buy a flight stick. Easily worth it at six dollars, indeed this one might be the bargain of the day.

But apparently it's cheaper in there for 9,99 since that's equivalent to 7,6 EUR or 6,5 GBP?

Dead Rising 2!! I has it now! :D DR2 was the main one I really wanted as a daily deal - was really hoping it'd be cheaper, but I can't wait to play this game any longer, so pulled the trigger at 50% off... :)

Risen is tempting at $15, but just a little overpriced still since it's not a game I would likely put enough time in to make it worthwhile.
 
Picked up lego star wars, been meaning too forever. Also me2, was a no brained at 10 bucks. So far avp,ac2,lego sw and me2. Not bad.

I am pretty sure this game got like a 3/10 on Gamespot or some similarly low rating for the repetitiveness and the totally crappy AI.

Also, did you guys notice how the sales started out with the $2.50 and $4.99 titles en mass and now there's barely a couple $5 titles in them? Steam's got the hook in you and is reeling you in because ..., well ..., $14.95 isn't that much either (till you add it all up and are WTF did I do?!).

Stick the the $5 rule my friends! :)

Lots of good games to be had for that price. Beat Hazard, Burnout Paradise, Bully, Just Cause 2, Monkey Island games, The Witcher, Wings of Prey, and there's the humble indie bundle #2 for whatever you want to pay as well.

I agree that way its going i might not have anything left till the 2nd. i am managing pretty well tho. im spending about $5.00 per day.

except for the gifts that i got.
 
I haven't bought anything today, nothing noteworthy

I like Mass Effect 2 @ 9.99 but I'm holding off on buying it

I know it'll just be just as cheap down the line and honestyl I wouldn't even get around to playing it for a while, since I haven't beaten ME1, so just waiting on this

kinda hoping for more of a drop on the GTA games.

I played the Lara Croft game coop with my brother earlier. It's surprisingly fun. I had a lot of chuckle out loud (literally) moments while we played. The puzzles are pretty fun when there's two people.

Really? I thought the whole dynamic with Fontaine and Ryan was way more interesting than anything in the second Bioshock. The whole story arch in general was better for me, but I enjoyed the second game as well.

I will admit that the second game had for more compelling game play, being a big daddy was truly awesome.


Also, I LOVE the Lara Croft game TOO!!! It's the best one they've made in YEARS.
