Since this is trading for steam items I want to establish some ground rules.
You will follow all the rules that are in place in the FS/T forum.
You will only trade for steam items, and items only.
Do not beg for items. If someone doesn't like what you have to trade make a better offer, or move on.
No money will be involved with these trades. If you want money for an item, or you want a good deal, go to the FS/T forum.

I couldn't figure out where best to put this now that it's a thing so PC gaming Seemed Ideal. Mods please move if you think theres a better spot.

So how do you actually use the coupons? I have a 50% off Valve coupon that I am trying to use for Portal 2, preferably the 2 pack. The game is eligible, but I'm not seeing any discount in my cart other than the Winter Sale discount.

According to the faq:

"When you add a valid item to your cart, Steam will apply any of your applicable coupons automatically. "

"Coupons are valid on discounted items unless specified otherwise."

You have to use them during a certain period after the sale. As in, when everything is full price. :rolleyes:

Oh, balls. I accidentally bought the Nightwing Bundle for AC and since Steam wouldn't refund it I just redeemed it, minutes before finding this thread.

Have a -50% Valve coupon and some coal, I guess.

-50% Valve and -50% Portal 2 coupons now. Crafted my coal because fuck coal, basically. I'm bored of these achievement/sweepstakes sale things. They need a new USP, this one's boring.
