from a pure comfort point of view, running your thumb over those bumps for a few hours seem terrible.
If people always thought like that, modern music would never have came about. Guitar strings aren't exactly comfortable on the fingertips.

For me personally? I honestly don't see a big benefit for me personally at all, I don't play RTS games and I rarely play single player FPS games where high accuracy is needed, those are the only times I really see this being a benefit.Ok, lets discuss this further so now why don't you flip that around and also tell us why it might work for you?
Huh? That's a terrible comparison. For one, people DO use picks, lol. For two, who WANTS to get blisters and cramps playing a video game, especially when there's alternative input forms anyway? If people always thought like that, modern music would never have came about. Guitar strings aren't exactly comfortable on the fingertips.
Yeah, and it's actually pretty good.Someone made a game where you run a passport checkpoint desk?
Meh.
Looks like you have to lift your thumb too many time to get it to track across the screen and I still think the precision isn't going to be great.
Most pro FPS gamers lift their mice all the time so I don't see it being any different. That's why some laser mice are engineered with very minimal lift-off distance in mind.
I'm not even going to replace my xbox 360 controller with this...atleast the thumbsticks provided an infinite amount of movement by simply leaning it in one direction, this doesn't even appear to be able to do that.

Comparing it to either a xbox controller or mouse/keyboard directly seems ignorant to say the least once you use just a tiny bit of thought on what they are trying to accomplish here. It's obviously not going to compete with controllers that already exist and are already supported because guess what? You can continue to use those.
Yes i understand taht, Though a mouse and mousepad offers almost unlimited room of movement. I beleive it was Fata1l1ty that played witha huge mouse pad, and took like 12 inches of movement ot do a 360 in quake 3. T
If you lift your thumb more, the less time to aim/control, and he looked like he lifted it quite often. Tahts wahat i was implying. This controller does look to be an improvement over xbox/psx/nin controllers.. I wouldnt mind to test one out .And compared to lifting your thumb it's really no different.
What would be a good analogy here....hmmm....well we've all seen how the Wii U controller worked out.![]()
