I See you points up there...you are doing just fine :)

hardfolding.com -> Project stats -> Folding@Home, then enter your (Stanford) username in the search box.

You won't show up until WUs have been finished, sent back to Stanford, and Stanford has updated their own pages. Then, hf.com grabs the tri-hourly updated data, processes it, and displays it. If not enough time has elapsed since your computers returned the results, you won't show up yet. However, if it's been more than three hours and nothing has shown up yet, check your fahlog.txt. Make sure it's really folding under your name and for team 33.

If there's still no solution, let us know.

Welcome aboard! Nice to have you. If you have questions, ask away. :)

Fold on.

Thanks gents! i am glad that it is actually showing up :)

i got my work computer ( folding wile i am on it, and through the night )
My Spare box ( AMD Xp 1800+ ) Folding 24/7
And my mediacenter ( Cel D 330 @ 3.3ghz ) folding 24/7

sounds close to my main systems....now what you have to do is ask your boss if you can borg the rest of your office :) thats the key to raising your PPD :) set them up as a service and no one is the wiser...of course except your boss :p

heh, i was thinking the same, i am allways working on my family's computers and alot of them refuse to Shut the computer off. i was allways asking them to turn it off when they where done with it.. now i think we can both get something out of this :)

Two questions, is the service silent? I.e. No prompts?
And How do i add my stats onto a footer?

Yes, the service is absolutely transparent. You only see it in Task Manager and services.msc

The stats aren't actually in the sig, it's just added to the end of your post. Here's how

Nice to have you aboard, fold on my friend but I warn you, it's adictive ;)

I have the exact opposite problem. My mom will not leave the box on at all. I think she avoids using it just because she doesn't want to turn it on. I lose 100 PPD because of this. I had a nice jump in points when I had the box several months ago to reload Windows and kept it about a week just crunching away. Now, I'm lucky if it will finish a timeless tinker in about 2-3 weeks time.

heh, thats kinda funny :)

i got them running as services on all but my main Box at home, and now i am going to ask a few people's computers that i work on if i can run it in the background...

Excellent, welcome to the team, and now that you plan on borging, make sure you teach them all how to do it. :D

we'll if its priidy, then next time i put folding on a box, i will use your Util.. Props man :)

wait a tic, when the thing is running in service mode, is there a way to see how much longer it will take to kick out the WU? and what frame and etc that its on? Like you do in the GUI vir?

windows btw

Try EM3. It checks the values of WUs, displays progress, all kinds of good stuff.

you can either get em3 to view (if you have multipule computers on a lan...you can set the folding folder to share and moniter your whole network from one system) or there is a file called "unitinfo.txt" in the folder that gives that info.
I suggest the em3...its priidy :)

thanks gents, that text file will do the trick for now, the App is blocked by the proxy at work ( suprise suprise )..

You *ought* to be able to use the client through the proxy--it's in the advanced options. It's somewhat of a security risk, since it stores your username and password in plaintext in the client.cfg, but it should be able to get through the proxy. All the F@H communication just goes through port 80 (or is it 8080?)
