I've just installed Win7 64bit and have a problem that I think should be easy to remedy. I have an intel x25-m 80gb SSD and a WD caviar black 2TB HDD. I assume both drives are running as AHCI, as that's the setting I chose in the BIOS before installing the OS. The first hard drive is my system drive. Win7 installed properly, or at least it did on the first drive like I told it to. My 2nd hard drive is visible in my BIOS screen. It is also visible in my hardware list under my computer, and device manager. Yet it doesn't show up in 'my computer', nor is any of it's storage space accessible.

Help?

If that WD 2TB is a new drive, make sure to initialize and format it using the "Disk Management" console in Windows 7.

You'll see my PM but you just want a logical drive. Just use the default which is probably MBR.

When you decide on your partitions and drive letters, it will show up in "my Computer". ;)
