Well Since its about spring time, I just moved to a new apartment, off a major road.. So hopefully dust will be cut down some.

I just got internet back and in the process of rebuilding my farm, cleaning out the 10lbs of dust they have accumilated, and crunching happily on small ass WU's...

Don't forget its about that time to clean out your boxen!

Currently Folding:
1 - AMD x2 3800+
3 - P3 1ghz
1 - AMD xp 2600
1 - AMD xp 2200
1 - P4 3ghz

I might be able to get a couple more up soon as well..

Yea...i have my house production down since i am still moving in to my new house :( Still need to get my network up and running and internet...at least i still got my work borgs :)

FOR THE HORDE

I was thinking about posting about spring cleaning time a few days ago. I cleaned most of mine during my latest upgrade session.

First day of spring was yesterday (I think) so clean those boxen!

Yep, scraped the dust out (no fan filters -> bad) a few days back, re-applied Arctic Silver, that kind of thing. Blew the dust off the linksys farm ;)

Yep, yesterday was the first day of spring and we had snow. Doesn't really snow all winter and then the first day of spring a bunch of people get snow.

It is about time for the State of the Farm address. I guess I ought to clean out them boxen. I do have a question though. I am putting together a Pent D 830 system and want to know, will it compensate for dropping a 500, 700, 1700 and 2400 MHz systems from the farm? I really NEED to save on power this summer. $250 electric bills killed me last year. :(

I finally cleaned my main rig out, the poor little paperclip power switch dumped itself and took the PSU with it, so it was as good a time as any to clean it out. I keep telling myself I need to pull the other two rigs out and give them a good cleaning, but I'll save that another day, they've both been running flawlessly for 6 months and I'd had to break the rhythm. :D

yeah i cleaned out almost all of my boxen this past month. except for my file server it is just to heavy to pull out of corner so it is fine were it is at

what are you doing with the 2400? :)

I've only got one box in my house folding 24/7...it's the only one I've got. Hopefully that will change this summer. It doesn't get too dusty, since it's sitting on top of a desk in a room that gets relatively little traffic. Unfortunately for folding, my new video card arrived yesterday, so I was playing UT2004 for three hours last night...gotta discipline myself. The nice thing about the rig is that all the heatsinks are passive (CPU/NB/GPU), with a 120mm in (at 5V) and an 80mm out (at 7V). Oddly enough, the 80mm out + the PSU fan waaaay overpower the 120mm intake, and I can feel air going in every crack and hole in the case.

Yeah, we got a little snow, then sleet, then it rained, first day of spring, but it was 34 all day, I was like WTF.

I finally got some time to move a few things around and get most of the parts I had sitting around up and running over the weekend.

1. 2.2 P4 back online
2 S754 Sempron 2800+'s
1 S754 Sempron 3300+
1 Skt A 1700+

Still need to get going: (ran out of PSUs)
1 2.4 P4
1 Skt A Sempron 2600+
1 Skt A Sempron 2800+

Bah! It's unfortunate when you have to startup you A/C unit in April due to the farm. Woke up and found my den at 92F. Guess its time to start shelling out the dough.
