Spore Creature Creator

I saw this in Best Buy today for $10. I would have bought it if it meant a $10 rebate off the full game or something.
 
Been making some fun creatures with the full version of the creature creator, but a few of my creations have gone missing from my sporepedia list, but still list 5 creatures, but only shows 2 of them. They are all located in my documents, the .png files, and it seems fine, but anyone find a fix to get them back on your list?

I want my monkey I just created back!

I have this same problem. I think when you share online, there's a chance it will disappear, so I just quit sharing for now. BTW I'm using the Mac version, so it stands to reason that this isn't some isolated little issue...
 
on the spore website I only see the PC, Mac and DS versions...dont see the WII listed anywhere, so Im assuming not available at launch.

I don't think I've ever read anything from EA or anywhere else about a console version of Spore. From what I've gathered, it's wishful thinking from gamers at this point. I do think I read that they would evaluate the possibility later on based on the success of Spore for PC.
 
I wonder if EA anticipated all these penis monsters.. I'd bet every person whos created a creature has created at least one penis-related thing. Hilarious!
 
After playing with the full version i hope they add more parts at some point. Several times I have found myself wanting some things that just were not there. A lot of fun though.
 
So buying the $10 doesn't amount to anything other than a 2month head start to make your creature? Lame.

I dont mind that to be honest. Rather have user created content running around trying to eat my guy than the same small group of reskinned dev created creatures like most games seem to have.

Sweet, so we are tools in their sick game for galactic conquest. Find the most powerful race (courtesy of us the user), and insert it into every planet in every game for every user once full version launches...

To make the game balanced, we can buy special upgrades via "booster packs" to combat the alien hordes!!

I just picked it up at asspot, Haven't installed it but is this the full version or will more be added in the full release?
 
If you paid the 10 dollars for it then its the full version that will release with the game itself. However I have a feeling little things will be added to it over the years, most likely in patches for free.
 
Not only are you paying for the right to populate the world for EA. If you don't make something they like, they may "fire" you by banning your account.
 
LOL i got a 7 day ban for putting Uterus Eggus in a description for one of my creatures. I didn't think that sounded bad at all haha
 
This is shitty. EA publishes game where you are "free to be a creator" then they ban you from playing your game when you use it.

fuck this game and its drm and heavy handed thug content police.
 
^ Yeah mine is working, but really though.. 5.1 sound in a game where there is only one character on the screen at a time really necessary? ;)

If they don't, there will be lots of cock and pussy running around in the game. Trust me, EA will get in shit from the parents.

This will also keep some sick freaks from stalking young kids.
 
I found an "easter egg" spin the galaxy on the main screen as fast as you can and see a familiar face wind up to greet you. ;)

For those of you who do not know how to spin the galaxy, click and drag.
