Hey Guys, just noticed something really spooky. My gtx480 sli setup pulls 666 pretty constantly from the wall when folding on the cards:

wow some people might couple that with the brand name of the device and think the end is near!

My 470 ain't too bad, in an open case

You mean Jen Hsun Huang?

If so I agree. The heat produced by those Fermi 465, 470 and 480's along with their power consumption is just plain unholy.
I was hoping for something more scathing coming from you :)

It might also be referring to the pure evil inherent in plugging a nice PC into what appears to be a $10 power strip

I've been out of scathing material lately. You have me as I do love hating on nVidia though. Ironically I hate nVidia but like eVGA the nVidia loyalist company, so it is a bit conflicting. Before I stopped using nVidia stuff, I used to exclusively only buy eVGA.

UAC is at it again.

Better grab the BFG 9000 before it's too late.

I still have Doom the movie on HD-DVD. I think i'll whip it out and relive what is likely the best "video game converted into movie" movie that has ever been done in the history of converting video games into movies. If any of you guys have not watched Doom the movie yet, I highly encourage you to go put it on your Netflix queue or however you watch movies.

Botton line is that they do one HELLUVA awesome job on the BFG-9000 in the movie. It is exactly as awesome as it is in the video game.

I wont say where I got mine.... but its 4 ft long :)

the ladies love it

And I thought I was being a cheapass when I plugged both folding1 and folding2 into a $20 3ft long power strip/surge protector I got from Micro Center.

I think it is the best game to movie ever done, and think that it is definately one of the better movies out there. That FPS sequence near the end was just a classic as I have never seen that in a movie before. Besides, seeing the BFG9000 alone makes the movie worth it. The choice of actors were also very good as Dwayne The Rock Johnson put on a good performance.

No, the strip alone is 4 ft long, not counting cords. 10 outlets with ample room inbetween, mounted on the back of my folding bench so I have plugs the whole way down. Cost me 35$ I think, I LOVE IT

hitman was close to being the "best" game to movie but near the middle of the movie the shitty acting just destroyed the movie.. especially the russian chick..

Just don't watch Devil, The Last Exorcism, or Paranormal Activity on that system! Or play Doom 3, haha!

Dump some holy water on it that will take care of those numbers real fast!

I agree that Hitman was good as I forgot about it. I think I have that on regular DVD somewhere.

Doom 3 is a classic! I just hope that Doom 4(likely a couple years away) will be good. I think Carmack was talking about how it is going to have several times the level of graphical detail as their upcoming game that I can't even think of right now.

That would be so wrong............

+1, i have the movie, and well didnt like it much at all, though props for it being a decent game to movie, movie. And The Rock sucked as an actor imho

Flashback time from the original Doom for the PC: I downloaded a mod which swapped Barney the dinosaur for one of the monsters. Talk about pure evil!
