Is thare a way to intagrate a spell checker into VB, because my spelling plain out sucks Its a idea im just throwing out a idea.

Maybe in future editions of vBull....but for the time being, I use my Google toolbar for spell checking. Just type in the work and it will correct you if you are wrong (the 'did you mean' prompt will show) piece of cake.

I actually like the google toolbar spell check

Although it is a great idea, I don't think it's needed. Even if you don't spell it perfectly, people will still get the idea. That or you can put www.dictionary.com in your favorites as a button in the toolbar. Thats what I do.

I think checking 3 million posts for spelling errors would add an uneeded amount of server load.

back in the old days the forum had a spellcheck feature. It sucked and never worked right.

Yes, I remember it myself...

Mister_X has the best way to add a spell-checker and I sugges this to anyone who need a spell checking feature in the browser.

It doesn't matter how you spell around here, as long as we can figure out what you are trying to type.

Little Mr. Spellrights are long gone, so don't worry about it and post away.

Implementing a spell checker will negate the purpose of the Internet. Our inability to spell correctly has made some hallmark Internet words.
Forums such as this would not be the same with a spell checker.
I think its fun reading poor grammar and common typos.

Yea, where would we be without the ability to flame someone for a mis-spell?
Its a great way for guys to get their post count up too.

If I'm really worried about it, I just type it into Word, spellcheck, cut and paste.

If I am going to post anything consisting of more than 2 or three sentences I usually open up word and do the following “copy-paste-edit-copy-paste-submit reply” ;).
