I asked about a Mobo/RAM/CPU upgrade for my computer in a different thread and got some great answers, I did have a question about the ram though.

The G.Skill is what he recommended, and I have no problem with it, but I am wondering how it varies from the ram in this combo;

So basically what I am wondering is are they nearly the same?

Thanks in advance.

The gskill has been shown to have fewer issues with quality than OCZ, and it runs at a lower voltage, resulting in better internal case temperatures.

They're not the same at all. Look at the RAM voltages: The G.Skil has 1.5V while the OCZ has 1.9V. The OCZ RAM would not be usable in an Intel Core build since the max RAM voltage for those CPUs is 1.65V. But for an AMD setup, that OCZ RAM should be ok. But you might not be able to use that OCZ RAM in a future Intel build due to the high voltage.

That's pretty much the major difference between the two.
