Hey guys...need a good speaker setup for my frnd's gaming cafe ... just for music ...5.1 speakers

please suggest me which would be the best for inside 200 $

tx

then which to get... i thought it would have been nice to get 4 speakers @ 4 corners of the room / building, anyways u suggest me, im not experienced @ these stuffs, and yeah it will be just for MUSIC

4 speakers then. you want them up in the ceiling area? not in the ceiling itself but the top corners?

how much $$?

do you have an amp? cheapest for this is the sherwood 6500 receiver. I will vouch for it.

Is this a really small internet cafe? For $200 you'd be hard pressed to find something that can fill a larger room.

oh btw i forgot abt the length of the room and all, so no point getting 4.1 speakers....which would be a good 2.1 speaker system?....the altec mx 5021 is available at my place

@ spaceman..i dont have an amp...tbh i have no clue what an amp is xD

Also 1 thing to mention , he has a creative inspire 4.1 speakers lying at home

An alternative is to buy a good 2.1 and the old creative inspire 4.1 and use them together !.

this was suggested by my friend..i dunno if this is really possible !!! how can u get those 6 speakers 2.1 + 4.1 connected.....and wont there be difference in sound quality better the 2 speaker companies !!!

Anyways guys, ive decided for a 2.1 now..and would probably be an altec MX 5021, if you guys have any suggestions for better 2.1 speakers , pls do help me:)

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 should do the trick, you can find em on eBay for under $100...you can also try the Swan M10's

Your using computer speakers commercially, are you messed up or something!

At the very least get some decent bookshelf speakers and a cheapo cambridge audio amp off ebay off something, u will be able to hear the difference trust me! In a cafe or something u need a bit more volume than some pc speaker belive me.

If you have the paper wit da queens head, you might as well get some proper speakers and embed them into the ceiling but some bookshelfs are fine if ure feeling lazy

i really like my logitech z-2300s. you could get 2 sets for $200 bucks if you look around for sales. i'm sure 2 sets would be sufficient. my pair fills the bonus room above our garage really well.
