i already have a reciver and i want to get some speakers
must have nice mid range and not too much highs
these are for music
 
Well in that price range you are just under the price of rather good 2 channel bookshelves. I really think the excellent models for most start at 300.

However there are 2 good options in your price range, that don't get much airtime.

this is closer to high end, and is a bit high for what you are asking. I would look at their full size bookshelves personally but they may be out of your price range.

More of a heads up than a recommendation but I'm hoping the ONIX X-LS @ $199 will be excellent. Unfortunately we have no way of auditioning them but i hear AV123 is rather liberal with their return policy. I'm looking to pair them up with a sonic t-amp or av123's X-empower class D amp in a nice 2.0 or 2.1 config.
 
paradigm mini monitors are great speakers but for a bit less you should be able to get a pair of titans with your budget which are very nice speakers for the money

Those look sweet.. I think I am gonna wait before I replace my bedroom 5.1 setup until the X-LS come out.
