For gaming and music purposes, is a Santa Cruz to Audigy2 ZS a worthwhile upgrade? I have a Logitech z-5300e on the way to pair up with whichever card.

I take it that means better fps. But worse sound quality. Please correct me if I have misunderstood.
 
I can get one for $50, just can't decide if it would be money better spent elsewhere.
 
Yes, it would have been better spent on your speaker budget. I'd refuse delivery on those Logitechs and get better speakers.

Speaking as someone that once had a Santa Crud and Audigy2 is my PC at the same time I have to wonder what you were smoking when you came to that conclusion.
