Sound Blaster Z PCIe Gaming Sound Card $59.99 FS

Hmm...quite intriguing and tempting. I've been debating the same upgrade as well (X-Fi Fatal1ty Titanium).

I haven't found a definitive conclusion, however that is probably the lowest price I've seen it at for as long as I can remember.
 
You're probably better off with a dedicated DAC than a soundcard these days, unless you really use the 3D positional sound stuff (which I've always found to be useless, really).

I personally love the Dolby Headphone or whatever it is that SBZ uses for gaming. Positional audio with headphones sucks ass without some sort of processing, in my experience.

Also, if you still use surround speakers, having a sound card is much better.
