lol wow, the big (small?) L just got owned! :D

gj, FLECOM!

That's gonna be a massive upswing in production for you...question is...how fast are they?

slowest is a group of 25 1.7ghz P4's... rest are mostly 2.0, 2.4 and 2.8 P4's and a few 3+ghz machines... we are getting 200 athlon 64 hp workstations soon also... but not 100% sure on the speed of those...

Totally sweet, that should really help in our OCAU stuff (since they are pwning us again). 600 is gonna be insane PPD for ya. What kind of speeds are we talking?

[edit] nevermind, you beat me by a minute.

Now I've gotta do this before K* does.

At least ONE of those machine needs to fold for TuxedoedShrimp. I'll even spell it for you T-U-X-E-D-O-E-D-S-H-R-I-M-P. See? Now isn't that easy?

Ouch, Bubba just pnwed! :D

Oh YEAH? well when *I* start school, guess how many cpus I'm bringing online!

Okay, three. So maybe you win.

Next time, Gadget, next time!

OH Yeah? Well, when I'm Governor of the State of Missouri, you'll be in trouble then. I'll make the IT people install it under my name or I'll fire them. :D

freshman year starts in ~12 day. the school has 155 GHz worth of lab computers, P3 1GHz and P4 2.2's. and all the P4's have a gig of RAM.

yeah, i'm gonna b0rg it. plus the thousand 'ish students... well, not quite like that...

Well get this in while I can I guess...

I'M #1 IN PPD PUNKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

currently, as on today, for this update only, disclaimer....

we shall see ;) WOW DAMN 600 computers thats awesome that should give the roos something to seriously fear!! mwuhahaha

You're wrong.. there are eight.. and I've worked on them all :D

My school got alot of P4's... But they are acting queer and does not allow me to b0rg them.

oh 600? I thought this was going to be an impressive post or something, thanks for wasting that time reading this thread that I can never have back...

I uh... cant say im not jealous... heh :p

I was quite happy of the 45ghz I got out of my old school... college starts in a week, maybe I can consult with the computer labs...

GA State has our labs on lock. u cant install crap...........

That would go against the rules of borging, anyway! You realize that by installing F@H (or any other DC program) it could be considered theft (of services, like their bandwidth and power) and could be punishable by law? Not to mention generally indecent and immoral! Chat up the folks who run the labs and present the F@H case to them. :)

Congrats on the 600 CPUs  FLECOM and thanks for the production boost. :)

Then I must be pretty good considering I have all the computers then. That's weird, I never new I had such a monopoly.

Hey, you've never touched mine. So, either your lying or you have miscounted. :p

u damn near need a security clearance just to get in a lab and permission to install requires a 20 year background check and a letter of recommendation from the Pope.

chileman/tuxedoedShrimp is just chafing in last place in our little 5 way race http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=920285 just remember 184oz is easier to type than TuxedoedShrimp. why you could almost run three of thos machines in my name for just as many keystrokes as one in his ;)

At any rate, good job. Will be fun to watch your numbers swell.

Holy cow. 600 machines. When I checked yesterday, OCAU had us outnumbered by about 1000 boxen. I need to get a new job. A job like FLECOM's. Wow. Just...Wow.

Good to have you back. The gap's been getting bigger lately.

That is because in the past they have had a problem with people installing DC clients on their computers without obtaining permission to do so.

I have to agree.

The point is no matter how tempting it may seem, it's not worth the possibility of being expelled from your school, fired from your job, possibly facing felony charges, and dragging [H] through the mud in the process.

Installing something on computers that don't belong to you without first obtaining consent is just plain wrong, not to mention doing so is totally against Stanford's F@H License Agreement.

You may use this software on a computer system only if you own the system or have the permission of the owner.

600 comps...

i like the sound of that i would like to see some DC pr0n from his...

waves at the lurker glad to see you

So ummmmmm, when you gonna get some production out of these????

:)

I was wondering the same thing. If the first of those 600 started folding last Monday, the flood should have already started.

<runs to check hardfolding.com>(FLECOM's stats)

Nope, it doesn't look like the points are coming yet. FLECOM, when can we start seeing the fruits of your labor?

Let's see, estimate 100 ppd/box, you're looking at 60,000ppd total. Yeah, that'll take care of the Aussies pretty quick.

Arghh.. wrong button.

Anyway, I have had very good luck getting my clients to let me borg their machines (everyone except one Dr.s office that has 28 partners that have to unanimously agree to it takes a while). All I have to tell em is that it is for cancer research and they have no problem with it.

There used to be 4, then I moved them to Texas a few years ago.
