Something doesn't seem right

My memory bandwidth seems really low compared to others.

SiSoft reports 7041 MB/s for my memory bandwidth. It seems that most people are able to get up into the 8000 to almost 9000 range.

Specs:
E4300 @ 3.15 (350x9)
Memory is running 1170 (585 DDR)
FSB : DRAM 3:5
5-5-5-15-2t
Bank Cycyle Time (tRC)24

Motherboard:
eVGA 680i A1

Memory:
OCZ SLi Certified PC8500 2x 1GB sticks.

Any ideas on what I can do to get my bandwidth to open up a little bit?

Try running your Ram 1:1 and see what difference it makes (slow your cpu down if necessary).
That way you can gauge how much effect using a memory speed divider has.
If that sorts the problem, you will be torn between max memory speed or max cpu speed.
Do a few benchmarks to find which is best for you and then buy some faster ram anyway :D

The latency on that RAM isn't helping either.

If you can tighten up the timings, it will help quite a bit.

How do I set it to 1:1? This is the first time I've used an intel setup in a long time. I don't seen an option to set the divider on the bios like I had with my AMD setup.

Picked up some OCZ Reaper PC-6400 (4-4-4-15-1T) and now my scores are above 8k :)

Bumped my multiplier down to 8 (Running 8x400 now) and noticed that things are running quite a bit smoother now that the ram is running 1:1
