I just got new SATA hard drives. After getting everything set up, I've tried putting some of my games back on the computer. I successfully installed and ran Rise of Nations and Star Wars Battlefront. I was able to install Rainbow Six: Ravenshield and Command and Conquer: Generals, but I can't play them. I get an error message saying it can't find the cd-rom. I have successfully run these games in the past. I started having this problem with the old hard drives too, where I tried to run Rome: Total War. This game also installed but would not play. The only games that I seem to have problems with are ones that have more than one disc. I've got 2 dvd-rom drives One is a 16x dvd/cd-rw drive and the other is a 16x dvd/rw drive. Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

I would try...
1). Making sure you have all the latest patches and stuff like that
2). Putting the disks in the other CD drive just to give it shot
3). Uninstalling/reinstalling the game just to check.
4). Calling tech support.
