Sold 1080ti new owner has black screen

Have experienced black screens on occasion with display ports and HDMI. Some monitors are picky and don’t like auto on the signal. We had to manually select the signal for it to work.

Just a thought.
 
Well I booted into windows with my 1080 and the 1080 ti pluggedinto the 2nd pci e port. The 1080 ti doesn't even show up as a display adapter. Guess it's dead dead.
