So what is the difference

Between a Silverstone Strider series (like the ST85F) and the Silverstone Decathlon (like the DA850)? I'm considering getting a bigger PSU when I decide to get a 260/280 and these look like winners. However I can't figure out why the price difference. The ST85F is $180, the DA850 is $240. Major price jump, but I can't figure out the reason. They both have the same ratings in terms of things like output and regulation and such as far as I can tell. Also personally the ST85F would seem to be more attractive on account of it's larger (and thus slower) fan. However, with a price jump that big, I'd think there is some quality difference I'm just not seeing.

I don't mind spending the money, I just want to know what it's for, especially since the ST85F has a larger fan.

I'm also open to other recommendations, if anyone has them. I'm interested in something in the 800-900 watt range. Modular cables are a must, I just like them too much. Quality is more important than price.

I think a lot of it has to do with the DA850 having a single 12V rail with huge amps and probably being better for being quiet because of the fan.
