I keep hearing about how AMD drivers suck, and how Nvidia is more stable. I recently upgraded from a 4870 to a 560 Ti and found it to be the exact opposite. I never had any issues with the AMD drivers, but have tons with Nvidia's. Both the 270 and 275 versions left me with a lot of artifacts and screen flashes, so I had to roll with the drivers that came on the disc with my card to get it stable (266 version). Seems somewhat amazing to me because I never used to have issues with nvidia drivers, and kinda got used to hearing how bad AMD drivers were.
What was frustrating is I initially assumed it would be a temp/oc issue, but it was all over the place at stock clocks and low temp. Amazing that I almost tried to RMA the card when a simple driver swap seems to have cured the issue. So much for improving with updates
(caveat: I understand that some of you will not have any issues to report with those drivers...I am happy for you. For me, I am not impressed.)
