SMP 15 causes EUEs, right?

I think I recall, somewhere along the way, that SMP A3 units would EUE if I ran SMP -15. However, I've changed my setup so many times that I've forgotten for sure.

Can anybody else confirm this? The topic is finally getting a little bit of unofficial attention at FF: http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=14423&p=165236#p165236

I've read countless threads over at FF with no real explanation. The closest anyone has come is its something to do with setting the flag to a prime number, not sure how that crashes everything but is was posed that in order to avoid crashes use a non prime number.

Try it and see is the best i can come up with

jebo: ask me about this again in a few days, I can't comment right now. :p

yeah its something in the coding that causes it to EUE when using a prime number. theres no real way to fix it. they cant figure out if its the application or if its something else causing it.

Monkey have you seen EUE at Smp 15?

I seem to recall 15 being one of the problem numbers. Large-ish primes don't work but certain non-primes don't seem to work either.
