I was wondering if someone could help me here im trying to find the smallest case that can fit a pci-e graphics card such as a 8800, the only other preference is that i can choose what ram and which core 2 duo i want. Does shuttle make the smallest?

My friend uses a Galaxy 8800GT in his shuttle case. It fits fine although airflow inside is horrible.

Pretty sure that is the smallest case for a 8800.

Define smallest ?

To determine the smallest cast, tell what would be the motherboard size (ATX, mATX, etc...).

external psu, and a motherboard that can fit a 8800 core 2 duo processor at 800mhz ram

Still we need to know the motherboard form factor, such as atx or microatx, maybe even smaller.

Regardless, the 8800 Card, (gt, gts, gtx) is going to be the lmiting factor, as the smalles cases (pico-ITX, Nano-ITX, and mini-ITX) dont usually accomodate large graphics cards. Something larger such as a micro-atx is what you would be looking for.

In the end, if you really want the smalest you would have to fab your own case based on the SPECIFIC parts you have chosen.

He is right, but I would suggest not going for the smallest miniatx case. It would probably be cheaper / easier / nicer looking in the long run just to buy one that it would comfortably fit in.
