Hello,

I am putting together a small shop that is in need of 4 workstations and 1 main machine (mine) plus network attached sotage solution.

Here is what I am after:

1) What will you be doing with this PC?
3 of these will be used for basic control of 1 printer, 1 plotter and 1 cutprint machine (works with XP) and only require internet and USB out for control. the 4th is for a shipping station that wil be running SQL and outlook and intenent and should be more powerful.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Would like to be 250-300 range per machine. I have LCD monitors. Dell has something right now for 269 that will fit the bill
3) Where do you live?Seattle, WA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
Complete workstation, less LCD
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
NONE
6) Will you be overclocking?
NO
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
20" Owned
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Order this week
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
N/A
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
No

I also plan to build a storage server (Thanks for the previous help on my home version) and will need a multi monitor set up that I wil post seperate.

Thank you in advance,

Tyler

With your budget and needs, you're better off buying a prebuilt. Hit up www.gotapex.com or slickdeals.net for desktop deals. Also hit up www.delloutlet.com for used but still good Dell PCs.

But for the 4th workstation should have a fast hard drive like the WD 640GB Blue/Black as SQL and Outlook are disk intensive.

Since you're buying 4 machines, contact a dell rep and they can probably get you a better discount than what's available on gotapex.com/delloutlet.
