Slow windows loading

I currently have 3 HDDs in my desktop. When just the OS HDD is connected, Win 7 x64 loads fast, usaully within seconds. But with the other HDDs, windows takes several minutes to load. All drives are SATA internal, and i have checked the boot order.

Any ideas?

I have issues running media players. When searching for files and playing, all players seem to take their time, some of the players lag very bad, but its all hit or miss as to how long, and if there is lagging/stopping of the songs playing or video stopping. Movies play just fine though. I use XBMC and dont have issues searching through the HDDs. I do have issues everyonce in a while with the screen going black or something, but i think its my build and me running XBMC portable

Have you tried adding each drive one by one to the PC to figure which drive is slowing down your boot order?

I took a look at the event viewer over the weekend. One of the HDDs is getting an error everyonce in a while. Its the drive that has all the music, so that explains that. Might also explain slow windows load time

Yup it would. Start backing up that music now and RMA it.
