Check this sweet thing out, it's the CyberPower 1285AVR. Picked it up today at work (Staples) to replace my dead APC1000XS. This one is half the size and has some sweet monitoring software built into it. it shows run time, input and output voltages, output in Hz and Kw, load and battery %..ect. Sorry about the blurry pics but too bad.

I must admit even though it is a UPS that is pretty sweet looking!

Looks neat but that's not going to give you much uptime... I'll stick to my Liebert even though it doesn't look fancy.

eeh, i need something with 4 hrs of uptime lol

anyway, nice UPS,

lol,

my ups turns off when i put my pc on it

and its a 500 lol

somehow i think they are overspecing those things... 750w? uhh, ok... I think if you pulled anywhere near that much the battery would last 10 seconds max

would be fun to maybe modify it with a fan to cool the inverter and hook the sucker up to a deep cycle boat battery or something see how much runtime you can get out of it lol

I got it for 160ish after tax.

It also has a fan thiat kicks on to cool it down when it's running off the battery.
