I am wanting to test out SLI on two graphics cards, but my PSU is not strong enough to power another 7800gt. How can I turn on my brothers PSU to power the second graphics card to play around with for a while?

You can per above but if I was your brother I would kick your ass.

In the "ole days" before 1kW power supplies it was a common trick to run two supplies by connecting/splicing the power good signals (green wires) together with one supply running the mother board and the second supply the peripherals. Not too sure I would recommend it today. When I did it, the supplies would start up fine, but at shutdown I would have to turn one supply off manually with the switch for a second or two to get it to shutdown.

And if you swiped my video card as well, game over dude.

Unless you are running high resolution on a widescreen montor (and if you had that kind of money you could just buy a good supply) you will see no difference.

You only have 1GB of ram, SLI will do nothing for you as you don't have enough memory to adequatly run games at the high settings that SLI is capable of supporting.
