SLI + 6800GT + Widescreen = ?

That's been confirmed over in the nVidia forums...i see you frequent there as well ;)
 
I can confirm that my "jittery"screen issues with CS:S were finally resolved after installing Windows x64 with the leaked Nvidia 76.71 64 bit driver!

None of the official or leaked 32 bit drivers ever solved the problem for me running SLI on my Widescreen Dell 2005FPW.

Isn't that Nvidia's line - that its fixed in the 64-bit drivers and the fix will be available in the next 32-bit set (whenever it comes).

I don't have a widescreen display, but for you guys who do, are lots of games compatible with it and what do u do when a game isnt?
 
Thanks for the confirmation, I was sure I saw that v64 driver fixed wide screen.
I was more interested if SLI and CSS would be supported.

Anyways its ordered and will be here Friday, guess I know what I am doing Friday night.
I will post back on how well it works,

I have run both 6800GTOs and 6800Gts in SLI on my 2405 (and I run everything at 1920x1200) and have had no problems at all

ASUS SLI Deluxe MB
3200+ Winnie
2GB Corsair XMS
6800GTs were XFX
6800GTOs were pulls from Dell 8400s
 
73.00 32bit drivers from 3dchipset seems to have fixed this for me.

DVI @ 1920x1200 on a 2405fpw is now stable running SLI in WoW. Going to test more later.
 
that's great news... I am planning on getting a 16:9 format monitor soon. w00t.
 
Go figure! I knew if I spent the $ for x64 a fix would show up real soon.

I will be testing them as soon as I get home from work, ah screw it Im going home now. :p

Ok Home now and installed.

I will confirm this also.

No small line at top of desktop, CSS looks just awesome at 1920x1200.
