i would like to know if u guys think SLIing 2 6600GT would get me the same performance as a 7800GT or better or more like an 6800GT?

More like a 6800GT. It will benchmark higher than a single 6800GT (maybe even a 7800GT at least in AM3), but in real world gameplay, it is slightly worse than a 6800GT. I had a 6600GT SLI setup previously, but now own a 7800GT ;).
