Hey I am looking for a good mobo with a single pci-e. Dont plan on running SLI anytime soon. I was looking at the asus P5B-E. Planning on doing a moderate OC to the Cpu .

CPU e6600
GPU 8800 gts
RAM Corsair XMS2 (2 x 1024)
PSU FSP 600watt
HD 80gig sata2

Also i am worried about the RAM timing for the P5B-E manuf. states that the memory should use 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 timings anyway around this. Or should i go with a different mobo altogether

Any other suggestions would be helpful.

P5B-E is a fine motherboard choice. The 5-5-5/6-6-6 timings are suggested, but you should be able to adjust them manually once you're in your bios.

Thank you for the reply. Just wanted to get 2nd opinions on the mobo first sytem build. Trying not to make any major i.e. expensive mistakes
