PWM fans weren't a thing last time I built a PC 5-years ago.

If I'm using a PWM fan hub, all PWM fans, and have the hub plugged into a PWM mobo fan header, will I have individual control of each fan or will the speed of all fans on the hub be controlled simultaneously?

One connection to the motherboard = one speed setpoint. All your fans will receive the same PWM signal. Your motherboard will only receive the tach signal from a single fan, usually based on a specific header on the fan hub.

No, all fans will receive same PWM control signal, but that does not mean they will run the same speed. Each fan's speed will depend on each fan's PWM to rpm curve. All fans have their own PWM% to rpm curves, even fans of same rpm range often have different PWM % to rpm curves.

PWM fan hub has one header for rpm signal to motherboard fan header.
