Simple, portable Windows firewall? Windows Firewall alternative?

Hi fellows,

I don't normally run a firewall on my Windows box--as my routers NAT and firewall blocks most unwanted connection attempts--but I would like just like to run some test some strange traffic behavior that I have been experiencing.
For that, I am requesting a recommendation for a light, portable Windows firewall, with heavy logging/monitoring ability if possible.
Maybe there is something out there that is sort of like a robust "IPtables" for Windows?

Also, if anyone has any Wireshark advice for a noob on how to analyze strangeness in incoming traffic...like rejected/unsuccessful connection attempts, please mention here or PM me thanks!

Have you tried enabling logging on Windows Firewall?

Might be worth trying that before you go with something 3rd party that
could screw up more than it helps

That helped some, but the layout still feels clunky and cumbersome to sift through.
I'd rather have something simple that highlights important details right up front.

Free version. Try it. No idea of the quality of it
But I have used their malware cleaner and its fantastic.
